This year, a group of our trainees once again successfully participated in the well-known business simulation game “playbizz” – a competition in which trainees from all over Bavaria take on the role of a company board and manage a fictional company. The aim is to make economically sound decisions, react flexibly to market developments, and always keep the success of the company in mind.
Over four game periods, our trainees dealt with topics such as marketing, investments, personnel planning, production control, and finance. What makes this special is that all decisions must be made as a team – perfect practice for entrepreneurial thinking, project management, and cooperation on an equal footing.
The results are impressive: our team achieved a strong second place in the regional evaluation, holding its own against many other trainee teams from various companies. However, the focus was not only on the ranking, but above all on the learning effect. The participants were able to understand important economic relationships in a playful way, train their strategic thinking, and strengthen their teamwork skills.
“The simulation game was a really exciting experience. We had to make a lot of decisions and always keep track of everything – just like in the real economy,” said one participant. “And the most fun part was doing it together as a team.”
We are very proud of our trainees, who have shown how much potential they have with their commitment, creativity, and team spirit.
Congratulations on this great achievement!
